A Day In The Life Of Scott

If it can't be expressed in figures, it is not science; it is opinion

The Past, the Present, the Future

A Poem by James

We ask ourselves every single day.
What will come next?
Day after day, it’s never the same.
Questions flutter through our minds to the max.

We sit, we watch, we learn.
But will it help us in the future?
We never go hungry, less that I can predict.
We surrender ourselves to the almighty beast.

Technology tells us not what is next,
But what will come tomorrow.
We can only find out.
We will just have to wait and see.

James came home from school the other day after I spoke with his writing teacher. She was proud of his writing, and so was he when he asked me to read it. She told me that it was read aloud to the class and they had quite a discussion about it.

I thought it was pretty good, so he gave me permission to post it on my blog. Let me know what you think.
